Question: where did the names 'denim' and 'jean' come from?Answer: jeans originally came from Genova (get it, jeans... Genova?) and denim originally comes from De Nimes in the south of France.

For some reason I seem to remember that there were some really great sailing sales made in De Nimes and that Denim was originally sail material... false?
