It's cold and I have a cold

Can someone please tell me why what is a little cold to everybody else is a full blown, have a fever, sleep 18 hours a day, cough and sneeze for me?

But since I am feeling better today I am going to go buy myself something warm to wear. Preferably in the cashmere variety...
