Scene: beach in Italy. ScusiM and 5 friends, including two who are from Taiwan (affectionately called The Twins).
Me: So you had to go and buy new bathing suits for today? They are really cute!
Twins: Thanks, yes, we didn't bring any.
Me: Are there even any beaches in Taiwan?
Twins (looking confused): Taiwan is an island, so basically everything is a beach.
Me: Oh, good to know.
